Discipleship Coordinator
Christine graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science.  After graduation she went on a service trip for two weeks with Freedom Global sparking her interest in Kenya and development.  She worked with Campus Outreach for a year after graduation, at Campbell University, and had the opportunity to disciple three young women who were all juniors.  Discipleship had transformed her faith in college, and she wanted to bless others in a similar way.  She moved to Kenya in January 2013 and started the Discipleship program with another young woman at Uhuru Academy.  Looking at how the program has grown and expanded into other schools in the area brings her great joy.  Girls education, sustainable development and the power of the Gospel to set people free are all passions that have matured while living in Kenya.
