As a member of the graduating class of 2019, Everlyne remains dedicated to her studies because she wants to make her future bright and provide for her parents. Outside of school, Everlyne, who is the sixth of seven children, stays with her oldest brother in Nairobi. Her oldest sister, who is a teacher, is her biggest inspiration. In her spare time Everlyne likes listening to Kenyan hip-hop music and spending time with friends. In addition, one of her favorite things to do is to listen to others’ opinions and ask questions about their lives. She hopes that these skills will help her become a journalist one day.
