DorcasChegeDorcas will graduate Uhuru Academy in 2017. She lives with her four brothers, two sisters and mother in Vumilia Resettlement Village. Her family was displaced during the post-election violence of 2008. Dorcas wants to be a neurosurgeon when she grows up because she wants to help people and loves Biology the most. She prides herself on being a good confidant to her friends, never gossiping about what they tell her. She enjoys playing soccer as a defender. She loves that Uhuru Academy is a Christian school. She says that education is important because it builds her future, and without education there cannot be empowerment.
